A fantastic opportunity is available for a Training Material Developer in our Organisational Change Management team.


The Training Material Developer will support the successful implementation of the global Turbo programme by being responsible for the design, development, update of content used in training delivery. Experienced in deploying multiple training processes and tools.  Extensive experience of working with multiple teams to ensure material, processes and techniques used during training programmes are constructed and delivered in a manner which reduces Impact of Change risk, increases end user capabilities during deployment and within business as usual.

Role Purpose:

  • Responsible for the design, development and updating of all training material.
  • Build end to end central and local training programmes.
  • Build new ILT and WBT training courses, implement changes to existing courses based
  • Support the Change Request process ensuring updated training materials are available on the Learning Management System (LMS) within the agreed timescales, and in the appropriate languages.
  • Manage the end to end translation process.
  • Responsible for the course to curriculum mapping, accurately reflected in the LMS.
  • Work closely with Training Lead to provision training to end users during deployment.
  • Own the processes used to create and deploy training material, ensuring adherence to audit compliance.
  • Create a strong relationship with the Change Leads and SMEs to collect feedback on content to contribute to the continuous improvement cycle. 

Is This You?
  • Strong experience of working with a Learning Management System (Cornerstone preferred)
  • Significant experience of creating and managing content creation through a Content Development Tool (Workforce Performance Builder/Enable Now preferred)
  • Proficient in learning technology and associated functionality (e.g. SCORM)
  • Strong Microsoft skills (2010+)
  • Experience of provisioning training for large scale system based programme 
  • Excellent English language skills both verbal and written
  • Organised and methodical in general approach to work
  • Training Certification
  • Strong expertise in the learning technology used to create training material
  • Technical orientation, articulate and enthusiastic, able to work closely with external and internal teams
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, highly organised, and able to easily interface and collaborate with a diverse group of individuals
  • Creative problem solving skills and ability to work on own initiative to drive and deliver results
