Trade Marketing Manager

About the role
 
RB is looking for a future sales leader to join our Trade Marketing team! This role is responsible for developing the trade strategy behind high-potential and whitespace brands within the Upper Respiratory category. You will work in a cross-functional team to deliver multiple innovations, uncover meaningful shopper and consumer insights, and champion new and innovative thinking to unlock these brands’ full potential!
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Leverage all available consumer, channel, and shopper data available to develop 4P strategy and compelling, trade selling stories to support multiple innovations
  • Lead annual trade sales planning by deep diving previous year performance, identifying key growth opportunities and translating into 4P Local Success Model for Sales execution
  • Clearly articulate category best practices and ensure timely transfer of knowledge to Sales
  • Champion uncompromising 4p execution of new products. Includes leading the development of sales presentation/materials and tracking of in-market implementation across 4P KPI’s
  • Develop in-store shopper marketing programs that align to marketing activation calendar; own budgeting and post-program evaluation to ensure learnings can be shared across the business
  • Provide financial implications behind all ranging and promotional decisions and champion ROI discipline across Sales organization
 
 
Qualifications
  • 4-year college degree
  • 5-years combined key account, trade marketing and/or Marketing experience with cross functional exposure to other operational functions
  • Good understanding of Customer Management Process
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI, Panel Data, U&As)
  • Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Computer proficient (Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Nielsen Answers)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal and time management skills
