A fantastic opportunity is available for a Senior Procurement Manager to join our procurement team.

 
 
About the role:

 

The role leads and develops a team of buyers in charge of the definition and implementation of a strategy to manage a supply base of External Manufacturing Organizations (EMOs) supporting the growth of RB in Health Relief and Wellness, primarily in Europe, Russia and Australia, with possible extensions in the rest of the world.


 
Key responsibilities:
  • Understanding business requirements, in coordination with key stakeholders in Marketing, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Supply and Finance.
  • Leading the identification and selection of the EMOs most appropriate to meet identified business requirements.
  • Leading the management of the relationship with existing/new EMOs and their performance in the areas of compliance, quality, service, cost and innovation.
  • Supporting the launch of new products sourced from EMOs, on time, in budget and with sufficient flexibility and capacity to support expected growth.
  • Leading the preparation of the annual budget and its execution, providing regular and reliable updates on delivery.
  • Identifying gross margin improvement opportunities, gain support of relevant business stakeholders and ensure their implementation.
  • Making sure the team constantly seeks and delivers NWC improvement opportunities.
  • Keeping abreast with market evolution to maintain an accurate knowledge of the potential supply base, its evolution and the opportunities and risks that the latter may generate.
  • Ensuring RB is the preferred market-entry point for innovative EMOs.
  • Managing own team on a daily basis. Ensure retention and development of key talents, in coordination with the Procurement Leadership Team.  
 
 
 
Is this you?
 
  • 7-8 years of demonstrated experience in Procurement, including portfolio strategic management
  • Demonstrated experience in people management
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
  • Good understanding of the P2P process and systems for Procurement
  • Good knowledge of the Consumer Health industry
  • Fluent in English
  • Rigorous and process orientated
  • Comfortable with RB values of Responsibility, Ownership, Entrepreneurship, Achievement and Partnership
  • Flexibility to travel regularly
  • International mobility is a longer-term advantage
