SUMMARY

Senior IT Manager Sales Solution Health in front line transformation department will be responsible and accountable for all related activities, projects, deployments related to SFA solution to support the Sales Team within Pharmacy and B2B channels and ensure that the company’s application portfolio is adequate to the cover the needs of the business and correctly supports the go to market model. She/He will be a part of the Sales Solutions team and will report into to Front line Transformation Director.

 
LOCATION

The role is based Slough, UK reporting to Front line Transformation Director.

 
SCOPE/ DIMENSIONS OF THE ROLE

Senior IT Manager Sales Solution Health will provide a combination of commercial and technical expertise and leadership to the business on projects involving assessment, design, development, implementation and support of business solutions for Pharmacy, B2B and Medical sales channels. She/he will also work with key stakeholders (Global Sales team, IMEX teams) on definition and aligning CRM system strategy and approach covering the mentioned above channels. 


Senior IT manager will supervise the implementation and maintenance of CRM application portfolio; work with delivery teams (Digital, Big Data, Support Services) during projects and BAU support, and will be a first level of escalation for issues and incidents related to those projects and support services. The role requires an end-to-end management of the projects, the vendor, budget and the services.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

General responsibilities within the Senior IT Manager role will typically cover:

  • Deliver against agreed strategy and objectives on time, within budget and quality;
  • Ensure alignment with global and regional Reckitt Benckiser standards and services provided to the business;
  • Ensure highest level of security and internal control in all implemented IT solutions;
  • If required, lead the design, development and deployment of global solutions in line with global standards;
  • Compliance with internal policies and procedures;
  • Manage relationships with vendors and continuously work on the service improvements;
  • Manage budgets and resources across work streams ensuring cost effectiveness;
  • Communicating job expectations for direct subordinates; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures;
  • Co-ordinate the project team, agreeing costs, timescales and standards to be met during the project cycle and monitoring these through the project
 

Business and Application Support will include following:

  • Implementing enterprise level projects and innovative and effective tool covering all the business needs for sales division;
  • Consulting with stakeholders and subject matter experts to acquire appropriate business requirements;
  • Understanding Sales operation and future growth strategy – both offline and online;
  • Designing technology solutions roadmap in line with key business priorities;
  • Deploy and manage technology solutions as per the roadmap;
  • Support the business in closing the loop: track the effort through analytics and dashboards to fix the execution benchmarks and then validate the performance at region/territory/country level; 
  • Establish meaningful business relationships both internal and external business partners;
  • Project Management and consistently managing deadlines and planning tasks across multiple resources and work streams;
  • Working with integration team on optimizing architecture for the applications (integration with ERP system, with data analytic platforms, with other applications).
 

TECHNICAL/APPLICATION KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIED

  • The candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:
    • Business analysis / requirements definition
    • Possess a good understanding of a recognized Project Management Methodology
    • Knowledge of web technologies adopted by RB including:
      • Salesforce
      • Power BI or other BI tool
      • JDE/SAP (optional)
      • Siebel (optional)
      • SQL (optional)
  • Bachelors’ degree or similar qualification with IT and business management as core subjects;
  • A minimum of 4 years’ practical experience gained working within a commercial organization in a business analysis or similar role;
  • Candidate must have a high level of commercial acumen, be able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of commercial business processes and their interdependencies, and articulate how technology is used as a strategic enabler to run and transform a commercial operation;
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification and methodology development;
  • Understanding basic integration tools (eg. Mulesoft) will be a benefit.
  • Understanding SFA solutions (eg. Nexxus MI, Veeva CRM, NewsPage) will be a benefit
