As A SENIOR BRAND MANAGER

 
As a member of the Marketing team you are focused on driving growth in your market by leading the execution of the brand marketing for a brand in line with country commercial strategy as set by the Area.
 

 

 

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

 

 Responsible for the achievement of financial and market share targets for a brand or group of brands in the market.

 
Responsible for marketing for a brand or group of brands in the market with responsibility for activation excellence of Area Powerbrand plans.
 
  • Works across functions including Area, PO1 team, supply, sales and finance to develop and execute successful commercial plans in order to  deliver financial and share plans and targets
  • Manages initiative development and activation of any local brands in the portfolio including development of new products, consumer and shopper communications
  • Generates and proposes business development initiatives (BDIs) for the brand(s) based on consumer, shopper and market understanding. 
  • Supports the Trade marketing team as required in the implementation of the store-format activation plans or optimizing product assortment and promotional strategy. 
     
  • Supports the Sales team in creating customer presentations and meeting customer requirements.

 

Key Challenges:

·        Ability to drive business agenda using all available data and resources

·        Clearly communicate actionable insights and drive results across multiple teams

·        Ability to manage several projects and workstreams, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

·        Development of strong relationships with all the stakeholders and cross functional teams


 

Skills & Experience required:

·        Strong analytical skills (using Nielsen, Consumers Quals and Quant research, etc) that translate into a strong understanding of marketing and trade marketing landscape

·        Confident in presenting analysis, diagnosis and solutions to top management;

·        Strong strategic thinking, planning, and priority setting

·        Experience in managing direct reports

·        Excellent project management skills

·        Excellent communication skills both written and oral

·        Minimum 6 years’ experience, preferably with 3 years relevant experience client-side or within a research agency in an analytics role, preferably working on an FMCG product or brand

·        Experience launching new products to market, getting claims approved and forming roll out plan

·        Ability to work well with sales teams to ensure translation of brand strategy to customers



Technical / professional qualifications required:


·        Masters in business/marketing/management or related discipline

·        Significant and proven experience with syndicated data and analytics in agency and client side

·        Proven ability to effectively manage large-scale brand research and budgets including

·        Experience in working within a global leading FMCG matrix structured organization

·        Proven track record as a top performer within a multi cultural environment.

·        Strong analytics background and passion.

·        Proven leadership skills including initiative, communication, creativity, bias towards action, and success even in the face of ambiguity

Base Annual salary: Between 50,000 GBP and 60,000 GBP
