  • Contribute to Reckitt Benckiser innovation by delivering a product development programme to generate consistent sales and profit growth
  • Initiate and manage market research projects to deliver powerful consumer and customer insights as the basis for long term brand growth, and develop these insights into achievable plans.
  • Contribute to the development of category strategies
  • Lead the development of local copy strategy / executions and/or to ensure adaptation possible for other regions
  • Manage a brand within the context of the agreed strategies to maximise long term sales and profitability, taking full P&L responsibility.
  • Develop, recommend and lead the execution of local marketing plans for assigned brands and manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget
  • In close co-operation with the Sales function and Trade Marketing, identify trade needs / opportunities, develop pricing and distribution strategies and trade promotions for assigned brands
  • Develop, recommend and execute annual marketing plan activities, including local Media strategy and plans      
  • Responsible for the achievement of financial and market share targets for a brand or group of brands in the market within timescale and budgets as approved by the Area team
  • Responsible for marketing for a brand or group of brands in the market with responsibility for activation excellence of Area Powerbrand plans.
  • Works across functions including Area, Po1 team, supply, sales and finance to develop and execute successful commercial plans in order to  deliver financial and share plans and targets
  • Manages initiative development and activation of any local brands in the portfolio including development of new products, consumer and shopper communications
  • Generates and proposes business development initiatives (BDIs) for the brand(s) based on consumer, shopper and market understanding.
  • Supports the Trade marketing team as required in the implementation of the store-format activation plans or optimizing product assortment and promotional strategy. 
  • Provide monthly updates to business review and monitor market performance, responsible for successful implementation of Brand plans as per business review and Business plan
  • Supports the Sales team in creating customer presentations and meeting customer requirements.

  • Capable of building strong working relationships & influencing and engaging both internal and external stakeholders

  • Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
  • Must possess a can-do attitude and take initiative to handle and resolve issues independently and quickly when faced with obstacles
  • Problem solving and decision making skills, with an ability to think outside the box
  • Willing to relocate internationally to pursue career opportunities
The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for the development of RB's power brand through the achievement of specific growth objectives, and for building brand equity via holistic marketing plans. The position plays a crucial role in the development of the overall category strategy. The Senior Brand Manager reports into the Category Manager, who reports into the Country Marketing Director.
