A fantastic opportunity is available for an Regulatory Affairs Manager UK&IE to join our Regulatory Affairs team as of June 2018.

  

 

Your responsibilities are...


  • Leading & Developing the Regulatory Affairs Team for Home & Hygiene (H&H) products in the UK. 
  • Ensure that all regulatory activities related to the development and launch of product innovation are delivered: this includes and is not limited to: provide/explain local requirements in the cluster, input in regulatory strategies, deliver local registration, documentation and regulatory clearance of labels and commercials…etc…). 
  • Ensure maintenance and compliance of existing HyHo products with local requirements during the product lifecycle. 
  • Lead and co-ordinate the resolution of regulatory and product safety issues affecting HyHo products in the cluster.
  • Provide regulatory support and consultancy to internal and external customers in a business oriented way (including induction, training, etc…)
  • In partnership with the H&H Regulatory team,  define and maintain departmental policies, guidelines and procedures. Ensure these are fit for purpose in the cluster and adhered to.
  • Recruit, develop and retain high calibre regulatory professionals to support individual country business activities.
  • Motivate and develop people within a results-oriented culture, where personal responsibility/ initiative, teamwork, and mutual respect are key
  • Day to day management of Regulatory department’s budget and resources.
  • Active participation in the development and implementation of best practices across the regulatory organization.
  • Be a source of proposition to improve our products and processes; for example propose new claims, etc…
  • Ensure RB is suitable represented in relevant Trade Associations in the UK and manage regulatory intelligence in the cluster.
  • Ensure that clear and suitable points of contact and representation for all H&H regulatory and Supervising Authorities are in place for routine enquiries and inspection.



 

Is this You?


  • Degree in natural sciences, preferably Chemistry, Biochemistry or Pharmacy
  • Preferably Master degree / PhD 
  • More than 5 years in FMCG Reg Affairs or FMCG R&D
  • Good understanding of the EU/UK Chemical legislation 
  • Experienced with Licence Maintenance & Life Cycle Management
  • Experience in product registration
  • Leadership experiences
  • Experience in Quality Management
  • Deep understanding of H&H FMCG Regulatory landscape including product/substance registration
  • Experienced with all standard IS applications (MS-Office etc.)
  • Experience with risk assessments of consumer goods
