A fantastic opportunity is available for a Regulatory Affairs Associate to join our Nutrition team based in Slough. 


The role: 

  • Provides regulatory support to the United Kingdom and Ireland.
  • Supports the Regulatory Affairs Manager to obtain new and maintain current registrations and reimbursement registrations.
  • Supports the assessment and development of marketing claims and messaging.
  • Review and approve advertising, promotional material and local product labels to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy.
  • Provide expertise in existing and/or proposed government regulatory requirements, and labeling changes.
  • Participates in regulatory training and education to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor legislative and policy developments in the assigned region and provides regulatory impact assessments and communicates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with relevant internal and external colleagues and internal/external stakeholders (regulatory agencies and authorities, trade associations, industry colleagues, local and European marketing, sales and business colleagues) to ensure all efforts are focused on the success of our products.

The person:

  • Master’s Degree in nutrition related field required or bachelor’s with extensive regulatory experience.
  • Food regulatory experience - preferably in infant and young children nutrition, food supplements or related fields.
  • Good knowledge of the UK and Ireland food law and related regulations, the political environment and its implications for industry.
  • Understanding of EU food laws and regulations, guidelines, standards etc.
  • Exceptional ability to manage workload and identify priority tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build good relationships and challenge constructively and confidently.
  • Understanding of product development and manufacturing in the nutrition industry.
  • Execute regulatory judgment in compliance with SOPs, legislation and company business and ethical standards
  • Naturally inquisitive and interested in our brands.
  • Competent with PC tools and information systems.
