A fantastic opportunity is available for an Analytical Associate to join our Digestive Health Relief team (Gaviscon brand).

  
 

As part of a fast paced and dynamic team you will be responsible for managing all the analytical aspects of assigned Existing and New Product Development (NPD) projects for the Gaviscon brand, with emphasis on using new innovative approaches, solving technical problems and you will be empowered to work with the formulation team to drive scientific excellence in any product development with consumer acumen.

 
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Support NPD projects from the development pipeline, taking ownership to ensuring all analytical aspects of the development are effectively performed within agreed timelines and any issues highlighted to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Solve complex technical problems using experience, knowledge, research and advice.
  • Provide accurate analytical data and technical support for medicinal licence applications where required
  • Write technical reports and regulatory dossiers
  • Maintain an awareness of global regulatory requirements and market specific regulatory requirements
  • Line management responsibilities and training members of the team where appropriate


Is this You?
  • Good degree in chemistry or analytical chemistry or a relevant scientific discipline
  • Proven experience within an R&D healthcare / pharmaceutical environment with a track record of delivery
  • Good knowledge (theoretical and practical) of analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, KF, titration and spectroscopic techniques (UV and IR)
  • Regulatory knowledge and experience of Module 3 is required
  • Results orientated, self-motivated with an ability to evaluate and take risks.
  • Excellent communication skills
