A fantastic opportunity is available for a Quality Control Laboratory Systems Administrator to join our Quality Control team.

  

 

Responsibilties

 

 

  1. To ensure that Quality Documentation (e.g. Standard Operating Procedures, Methods, Specifications, etc.) used within QC are correct and compliant to legislative requirements and adequately implemented to QC operations.
  2. Manage the introduction of new equipment to the QC group.
  3. To provide compliant delivery of the following activities for all QC equipment, facilities and systems:
      • Project Leadership & Design Specification
      • Qualification
      • Validation
      • Maintenance
  4. Generate and Lead focussed improvements to QC operations and systems, where viable.
  5. Ensure compliant and effective delivery of Training systems, specifically for new technologies and methodologies into QC.
  6. To support the continuous development of QC operations and improving the approaches for transfer and implementation of new technologies (e.g. Six-Sigma).
  7. To provide support to the review of analytical data and its statistical review for incorporation into Product Quality Reviews (PQRs).
  8. Take responsibility and ownership to ensure the smooth and compliant introduction of new suppliers (e.g. RMs).
  9. Provide support to Regulatory Authority inspections and where necessary conduct presentation of data packages and procedures.
  10. Act as Audit Host for non-Regulatory Authority inspections (deputising for the QC Manager).
  11. Lead the delivery of corrective and preventive actions to non-compliances with specific reference to Regulatory Audit actions.
  12. To continuously develop and improve the monitoring systems for QC Compliance and ensure status is clearly identified by a robust Key Performance Indicator (KPI).
  13. To provide support and cover for the QC Manager, where appropriate.

 

Is this You?

  1. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field with 5-8 years full-time chemical laboratory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Analytically capable with relevant laboratory experience
  3. Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to work cross functionally
  4. LIMS and/or other data systems experience a plus.
  5. Writing SOPs and analytical methods.
  6. Ideally experience in food, dietary supplements or pharmaceutical GMP/GLP
  7. Ability to work on own initiative and to lead a team of people
