Role Purpose:
The PO GDPR and Compliance will be responsible for defining the path to effective compliance obligation 
management, focusing on a synergistic way to re-tune the compliance for Digital Core platforms and BAU, mitigate risk and share 
best practices  across RB Health. 

The PO GDPR and Compliance reports to the IT Sr Manager – Delivery & Technology  and has the following key objectives:

Defining the roadmap and driving the GDPR restrictions adoption for Digital Core platforms and digital assets across RB Health. The PO will also engage with functions and markets across the business to gather demand, assess risks, plan next steps and monitor results.

Providing business-oriented expertise and, where required, leadership to the business on global projects involving assessment, design, development and implementation of business solutions and operations. The PO works with other business partners(s) to define business application requirements, analyse them, define resulting application changes and develop cost/benefit comparisons. This includes consideration and compliance with RB standards and security implications.

Must be capable of working in multi-functional regional teams as the representative of the IT function. In this capacity, the PO will possess a detailed & in-depth understanding of the business operations both within the function and cross functionally and the use of IT to gain competitive advantage.

Additionally, the role requires effective communication and team skills, the ability to formulate clear recommendations on technical issues and a drive to achieve within set timelines and objectives.
 

Scope of Responsibilities:
Collaborate with various functions and markets in identifying global and regional projects; plan rollout and deployment strategies for various countries; drive the implementation plan to success.
Facilitate workshops with other areas of the business to help identify, assess and translate GDPR requirements  into technical solutions.
Identify business opportunities and risks and proactively work with the business and IT to address these.
Create and enhance current and future business processes including approved ways of  consumer data processing   to meet business and legal  requirements .  
Drive and track project activities for key system initiatives throughout the system’s life cycle
Provide ongoing project management for vendor projects including initiation/evaluation, design, development, training and roll out.
Manage / lead the development and where required deployment of systems.
Drive project activities with other appropriate team members within the business to develop effective team relationships.
Create and maintain project documentation including GDPR related policies and procedures, status reports, system design, process flows and project presentations.
Actively seek to share and be open to best practices, new ideas, opportunities and issues.
Create business-oriented presentations to sell benefit of GDPR legal requirements introduction and compliant platform usage based on case studies

Skills/Experiences:
Essential
In depth  knowledge of GDPR regulations and its practical application to IT systems
Proven success & experience in evaluating and implementing collaboration, workflow optimisation and performance/KPI solutions in a CPG environment
Good qualifications in digital technologies, with at least 3-5 years of experience
Agile software development methodologies, e.g. Scrum, Kanban.
Vendor Management experience
Expert proficiency in English with good communication skills
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly/business language.
Proven stakeholder management at all levels
Ability to quickly understand business needs and define a repeatable process to meet them
Proven experience in delivering to aggressive timelines within costs
Knowledge of technology standards, solutions modelling and services design
Understanding of digital metrics optimisation
Knowledge of security, database principles and operating systems
Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems

Desirable
In-depth knowledge of internal processes of business functions
Strong business acumen, financial and business metrics understanding
Technical / Professional Qualifications:
Essential
Project Management qualifications e.g. Scrum, Kanban, PMP
Microsoft Office suite to proficient level
