A fantastic opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and experienced Payroll Manager to join our team!

Summary
Ensure accurate and timely processing of hourly, salaried and union payroll for over 2,500 employees in U.S. and Canada and provide support for remote payroll locations. Ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures and with federal, state and local tax reporting requirements.

Maintain a high level of customer service by communication with management and employees and by working with other departments within the company.

Responsibilities
Process all related stock activity related to restricted shares and stock option exercises
Ensuring all relevant controls and reconciliations for the payroll process are in place & fully operational
Update and audit pay information utilizing the ADP & Ceridian systems
Ensure that annual and quarterly tax information is processed and filed correctly
Participate in improvements to payroll process and systems, including testing and validating new functionalities
Participate in audits of payroll related activity
Complete reports and other requirements associated with year-end reporting needs
Perform various payroll-related reconciliations and analysis to ensure accurate employee payments
Coordinate the processing of U.S. W-2 Tax Statements and Canadian T4 Statements
Qualifications
Candidate should have a solid understanding of the dynamics of payroll operations along with functional knowledge in the following areas: 
BS degree in finance or accounting preferred
Must have 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Payroll Manager and min. 5 years of overall payroll experience
Must have professional experience in U.S. / Canadian payroll administration including taxation and foreign currency translations
Required strong analytical skills and self-starter attitude
Working knowledge of ADP PayForce System,Ceridian Insync System, JDE and MS Office Products (primarily Excel) experience expected
