An exciting and diverse opportunity is available for Master Production Scheduler to join our Planning team at our Hull Site on a fixed term contract for 12 months.

  

This is a stimulating role that will provide the opportunity to work within a dynamic and fluid environment. The main focus of this role is to plan the manufacturing resources by creating production and inventory plans to meet customer demands and finished goods inventory targets. The Master Production Scheduler will need to provide strong leadership and direction for the Manufacturing function and the team. This requires a driven individual, focused on continuous improvement within the department.

 
  • Build strong working relationships with the Operational and Procurement teams
  • Communicate capacity issues to the wider business and identify potential corrective actions
  • Drive ERP system optimisation and utilisation
  • Attend operational meetings, resolving supply chain issues that are affecting service
  • Consolidating customer requirements and produce production schedules based on agreed customer demands and production capabilities with the Materials Planner
  • Responsibility for managing a team of Material Planners and planning a group of lines or resources, this will include bringing in the required materials to meet the production plan.
  • Responsible for managing Net Working Capital in the factory and planning to maintain safety stock targets.

Our Hull site is a key location in the production of our Health products, globally. With over 600 staff on site, we provide a lean, modern and dynamic environment to ensure that we truly are driving the best results. Hull is also home to our state of the art Research and Development facility.

 

Due to Hull being a key site we are currently driving a large capital investment programme and continuing to drive safety and quality to perform at our best! Alongside this, we continue to invest in training and development and we are environmentally responsible.



Is this You?
 
  • Educated to a high standard with previous customer service experience in an FMCG, Pharmaceutical or Retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A driven and proactive individual, with a tenacious approach to getting the job done.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and a detailed understanding planning processes.
  • Detailed knowledge of MRP processes and systems (SNP/JDE)
  • You'll demonstrate strong problem-solving skills through your ability to manage multiple activities and respond to changing priorities.
  • Fluent in English with the ability to travel if required.
