This role is responsible to

  • Analyzes and translates long-run trends, threats and opportunities in the market place in terms of longterm business implications.
  • Identifies warning signs when programs or strategies do not meet the business bottom line, analyzes its significant effect to opportunity cost, benefits and risks, and uses this information to develop relevant course of action.
  • Develops and communicates a vision for the brand/and or multiple products consistent with business goals.
  • Ensures consistency of direct communication to customers, business processes and services with brand positioning. Champions / facilitates the annual business planning process.
  • Ensures a healthy balance between the needs of the marketing mix, internal business functions, and external systems to bring optimum business results.
  • Holds self and team accountable for delivering on milestones.
  • Understanding of chains of customers and dynamics among them and capitalizes on this knowledge by designing relevant strategies.
  • Recommends business opportunities at strategic and tactical levels for 2-3 year horizon.
  • Leads team to look for ways to constantly innovate differentiating features of products to set new standards for competing brands and to drive the cost down. Seeks out and champions key ideas that generate positive business results.

 

Is this You?

  • Possess a Degree either in Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent
  • Has Consumer, ethical, or other relevant marketing experience in a major organization (package goods/OTC/or related); had a diversity of types of brands managed, including a major brand, strategic or multiple brands including development of business plans and A&P budgets, with sales and BUC responsibility.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing concepts, strategic positioning, advertising, business planning.
  • Knowledge of strategic approaches for brands in different stages of the product life cycle.
  • Knowledge of financial management, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience leading advertising creative, agency management, and positioning development.
