A fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Controller to join our team


The overall objective of the marketing controller is to ensure the proper controls, monitoring and completeness of marketing investments by participating in the annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly group reporting processes and preparing business analyses for management and the marketing department. He (she) should be a strategic partner to the marketing department and help them to do the right decisions.


Key responsibilities:

 • Ownership and understanding of all dimensions of the marketing P&L cost in CZ/SK
• Participate in annual planning and quarterly forecasting process, align marketing investment targets with the marketing department.
• Participate in monthly closing procedures regarding the P&L (from NR to PC), inventory and marketing accruals
• Prepare monthly GM/marketing spend estimation for flash reporting
• Application of the global trade policy with regards to promo classification, trade/marketing investment accounting
• Ensure proper controls, monitoring and completeness of marketing investment, media spending and overall marketing budget, regular revew and challenge of BEI/non-BEI
• Maintain marketing budget and POs (key contact for Ariba system in CzSk), approval of all marketing relatd costs - including any re-class to or from marketing
• Prepare brand/segment/SKU profitability analyses and estimations based on business needs
• Provide analyses to the marketing team, working closely with them to enable them to make accurate decisions to achive business objectives
• Prepare pre- and post promotion & NPD analyses and discussion with the marketing team
• Participate in regular discussions with the marketing team on customer/brand performance, portfolio mix and profitability.
• Participate in both statuory and internal audit in matters of marketing budget


 Is this you? 

• University degree, preferably in economics discipline.
• 3-4 years experience in FMCG, preferably in the area of Marketing, Controlling, Sales or Finance
• Advanced user of MS Excel
• Having SAP knowledge and experience would be an advantageHighly independent and results-oriented with deep business understanding
• Strong analytical and financial skills
• Strong sense of urgency and achievement
• Resilient and able to respond under pressure
• Creative thinking and outstanding problem-solving techniques to evaluate and resolve operational issues.
• High level of precision
• Keeping the deadlines
• Strong English language knowledge
