A fantastic opportunity is available for an IT Director - Cyber Security Programmes to join our team.


IT at RB is going through considerable change including a significant focus on information security and increasing RB’s overall maturity. To shape the future state, a new role has been created within the Global Cyber Security Team for an IT Director who will specifically lead and drive a number of crucial Cyber Security transformation programmes.


Within RB the pace of change is considerable. Over the last 12 months not only have we integrated our recent acquisition of Mead Johnson Nutrition, we have also designed and implemented a new global operating model to support the business goals for ‘RB 2.0’ – Cyber security is viewed as a strategic focus area and we are investing in building our capability to enable business growth.


In this role, you will directly and positively impact the current and future state of security at RB by delivering of a multi-year global Cyber transformation programme. While the programme incorporates a breadth of initiatives, a key component includes the delivery of a Cyber Defence Centre coupled with a number of projects focused on preventative and detective controls in parallel with projects focused on aiding our ability to recover faster in the event of an incident. You will also take on the responsibility to deliver further strategic Cyber security programmes and projects as required to support Cyber risk management and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
  • Management of all cyber-related programmes and initiatives
  • Implementation of effective and efficient project management processes, methods, tools, and standards to establish a stable framework and enable consistent delivery
  • Tracking and reporting meaningful date reflecting the conformance to plans and expectations of programmes/initiatives demonstrating programme effectiveness
  • Manage overall reporting for the function providing valuable insight to senior leadership and board of directors as part of a strategic enterprise risk management program
  • Ensuring outcomes deliver value, are implemented within Cyber security architectural standards with strong business enablement focus on driving cyber risk posture down in line with organisational strategy, on time delivery, increased maturity and adheres to good financial management
  • Continuously review and evaluate opportunities to improve the project management best practices to achieve higher cyber security maturity and speed in delivery.
  • Provide strategic cyber security risk advisory and guidance for IT projects, including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls
  • Partner with IT Governance to ensure alignment between Cyber and IT-related projects
  • Coordinate the use of external resources involved in the information security program
What Are We Looking For?
  • Evidence of significant cyber security programme delivery coupled with cyber architecture and advisory capability - preferably in a global business
  • Experience with one or more project management methodologies (for example, PMI PMBOK, PRINCE2, agile, KANBAN and Scrum)
  • Proven leadership capabilities – leading, inspiring others and developing high performing teams
  • Experience managing third parties, offshore-provided IT service, operations and support for cyber security capabilities
  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in your direct control
  • Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills with a focus on Cyber security
  • Deep understanding of current and emerging cyber technologies and how they may be applied to drive digital business
  • Self-starter with the initiative to identify and build relationships with key stakeholders across the business
  • Experience delivering cyber technical control capabilities such as Identity and Access Management, Security logging, monitoring and alerting platforms, ATP and Malware defences (email/web), Security Assurance, Vulnerability Management, Cloud security and Security Awareness & Education.
  • The ability to balance cyber best practice with fast-paced delivery
  • Experience and good working knowledge of Information Security industry standards, processes and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. ISO 2700X, GDPR, IEC 62443, NIST 800-53, ISO 31000 etc)
