A fantastic opportunity is available for a Global Trade Marketing Manager in our Sales team.

 
Area of Responsibility:    
  • The role of Trade Marketing Manager is to define the Global Category Growth Platform and Success Model for their respective Category, to deliver the following:
  • High engagement from our key Customers, leading to disproportionate support for our executional priorities
  • Channel strategy that enables us to achieve the right interventions with the shopper to step change Category performance
  • Outstanding execution of the Global Success Model and 4P strategy in market
  • Our 3yr plan is rooted in Category insight, including a stretching 4P vision for success
  • Act as counterpart for the CDO team in making the right long-term business decisions
  • Drive shopper led micro-battles to unlock specific Category/Channel opportunities
 

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Category Growth Platform & Global Success Model
  • Define the long term Category vision and growth platform to engage and inspire Customers, and inform our long term Brand strategy
  • Include quantified growth opportunities in the next 3-5 years
  • Growth pillars rooted in shopper insight, enabling positive change to penetration, frequency, AWOP.
  • Design the Global Success Model to provide strategic clarity to RB IMEx on the execution priorities and principles to outperform the market in delivering the CGP
  • Provides strategic guidance on Channel/Format prioritisation
  • Identifies weighted Brand performance drivers, leading to a prioritisation behind each ‘P’
  • Deploys Globally scalable principles that are ‘format and channel ready’
  • Relevant to ‘Local Market Conditions and Competitive Challenges’
  • Basis for Enhancing LSM in Local Markets
 
3 year Plan and Innovation
  • Define the 4P vision for success for the 3year plan
  • Define any specific channel pack opportunities to accelerate strategic growth channels
  • Design innovation for success: provide trade insight needed to set up innovation for success, with clear success criteria for launch, and execution targets that gives clarity for lead market when outlining Country specific detail
 

In Market Execution & Customer Engagement

  • Work with top 10 markets to ensure outstanding delivery of key execution priorities from the GSM
  • Lead cross-functional workshops to align key workstreams that allow markets to deliver the key opportunities in the GSM
  • Track and measure performance to drive prioritisation and focus within regional/key country level business review forums
  • Partner with top 5 Global Customers to deliver Category growth workstreams. Attend necessary strategic meetings with key Customers to influence overall Category strategy and ensure RB is given disproportionate support for key initiatives
  • Drive shopper led micro-battles to realise opportunities for channel expansion or channel differentiation
 

Managerial Expertise / Personal Skills:

  • Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating.
  • Displays Reckitt Benckiser’s core values
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships in a multi-cultural organisation, and influencing senior management within the organisation
  • Proven experience in creating commercial strategy based on category and consumer insight
  • Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills, and ability to use data to support creation of compelling external messages
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and oral (in English).
