A fantastic opportunity is available for a Global Media Planning Manager to join our Marketing team.

  
 
Role Purpose:

The Global Media Communication Planning Manager will support the RB Health Business Unit in developing the Communication and Media Effectiveness Strategy as part of the Brand Connections Team. They are responsible developing and deploying Communication Strategy and Best Practice Models for a core set of brands.   They are accountable for the vision behind how to drive media effectiveness through the full Communications Planning and Integrated Planning Experience, including content and data strategy as well as any channel innovation needed to be tested. The ideal candidate will have a passion for how to reach the consumer most effectively on their personalized consumer journey.

 

The Global Media Communication Planning Manager leads all aspects within the Communications Planning Process, including Objective Setting, Communication Plan Development, Success Model Development and Playbook Development, and Lead Market Deployment. They will be active participants in ensuring full implementation of the Communication Plan at a local level, including Channel Plan and Content Plan Development. They will be used as a thought leader within the RB organization to elevate the way RB plans communications in the future.

 

As part of the RB Global Media Team this position needs to have:

 
  • A deep passion for the consumer and knowledge of how the consumer engages across the path to purchase
  • Strong business analysis skills with the ability to leverage the business and connect the dots to deliver media effectiveness
  • Robust experience in all aspects of Communications Planning, including Media and Content, and Consumer Insights
  • Highly developed expertise in business development and innovation, with a successful track record in executing with excellence
  • Strong ability to navigate across a Global Organization
 

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

 
  • Develop Global Communication Playbooks, including Consumer Journeys, Communication Idea, Touchpoint Mapping and Content and Data Strategy, that will be deployed Locally for Implementation
  • Work with Local Market on the development of Channel Plans to ensure they ladder to wider Global Communication Plan before it is developed into Implementation Plans
  • Develop the Brand level Global Success Model and deployment that will act as a guide for executional Best Practice that drive growth for the business
  • Lead the future vision behind Channel Effectiveness and Test and Learn opportunities that exist to drive business needs, including penetration growth and budget optimization
  • Lead the strategic vision behind Content and the role Content plays in reaching the Consumer
  • Make recommendation on capabilities and resources needed to drive Communication Plans effectively through organization, including tools, structure, agencies, etc.
  • Work with CI to analyze results, optimize efforts, and recommend future adjustments to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness in media
  • Represent RB as a thought leader in the Communication space; Consistently apply an analytical and strategic mindset to drive program performance; Participate in industry events and have an active voice in the marketplace
 
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or business.
  • Solid experience at a leading global media agency
  • Solid experience in a global company in media communication and media planning roles especially in consumer goods, retail or pharmaceuticals industries
  • Solid experience in Communication Planning, strategy and marketing principles
  • Experience in business development and innovation, with a successful track record in executing with excellence
  • Experience in developing Global Communication Playbooks, including Consumer Journeys, Communication Idea, Touchpoint Mapping and Content and Data Strategy, that will be deployed Locally for Implementation
  • Savvy and knowledgeable about current trends, innovations and best practices.
  • Exceptionally strong communications and presentation skills.
  • Strongly results oriented with demonstrable track record of success
  • Ability to handle ambiguity
  • Self-motivated, highly flexible and takes the initiative to do what’s needed
  • Internationally mobile – potential need to travel during role due to global nature of RB
