A fantastic opportunity is available for a Finance Manager to join our Health Business Unit (“BU”) FP&A team, focusing on business partnering with our Category Development and R&D teams.


 


Role


 


This is a high-visibility role, suited to positive-minded individual, who is keen to succeed and advance their career.  You will be a critical member of the Health BU Finance team, reporting to the Finance Director, Relief and R&D.  You will have the opportunity to challenge and influence decisions with senior stakeholders and deliver on business objectives.


 


You will be responsible for:


 


·        Driving key finance projects across the Health BU and ensuring their successful delivery.


·        Working with the Group’s Category Development Organisation and R&D teams to appraise innovation projects, providing financial analysis that will be critical to decision making.


·        Reporting and management of costs within R&D, including project costs.


·        Providing adequate support to the Finance Director, Relief and R&D, in delivering quality planning, forecasting and management reporting which facilitates strategic decision making.


·        Offer insightful analysis on the financials and business performance.  


·        Lead the annual financial planning and quarterly financial forecasting processes to ensure alignment with global process and timelines. 


·        Identify risks and opportunities in delivering of BU’s profit targets.


·        Drafting of presentations of financial information for the Health Leadership team.


  


Professional Qualifications/Experience


 


·        Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) – first-time passes preferred.


·        Experience of working with multinational consumer healthcare or FMCG companies.


·        Strong experience of financial modelling required, obtained from either an FP&A function within a large corporate or financial due diligence within Big 4.


·        Excellent working knowledge of Excel essential – including use of data analysis.


·        Persuasive communication and documentation skills including coordination, presentation, and oral and written communication.


·        Proven ability to work under tight deadlines, delivering complex project assignments on time
