Field Manager Pharma
Role – Description & Purpose:

The National Field Force Manager Pharmacy overall objective is to develop, coordinate and implement the 3D activities in alignment with Reckitt Benckiser strategic objectives (LSM) and to manage the sales field team in order to have the best results vs. the objectives

The National Field Force Manager Pharmacy is responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual targets for the Pharma channel. He/She needs to create inside RB a winning team in order to outperform competition in our categories.

The National Field Force Manager Pharmacy supports a mix team of sales representatives with approximately 29 members (Area Sales Managers + Sales representatives), covering about 6.500 customers around the country.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, monitors, controls and coordinates the team activities to delivers the business results:

  • Responsible for country sales and Market Share achievements by coordinating the team in promoting RB name, image, products and services in the relation with the customers. He/she should be an important contributor in building strategy for RB brands.
  • Market analysis translated in support for each team
Respects and applies Company values and policies:
  • Ensures RB values are integrated in his/her and his/her team daily activities/responsibilities
  • Respects RB policies, local legislation and sales conditions in the day to day activities of himself and the team
Build trusting relationships with the external partners:
  • Support the teams in establishing, maintaining and consolidating the business relation with the distributors. assists them in solving the issues and the disagreements in the relation with the pharmacies (delays, product deficiencies, inversions)
  • Impacts and influences decisions to achieve a win-win outcome for RB and the customers. Support the teams in the negotiation with customer if necessary.
Responsible for excellent in store execution of his/her teams:
  • Defines and tracks the KPIs level for each team
  • Support and coach the team to build the distribution of RB products in all customers in his/her coverage, in line with the recommendation by brand and channel –. Track the “must have SKUs” list implementation.
  • Support and coach the teams in implementing and maintaining the recommended plan-o-grams in the pharmacies, in line with the recommendation by channel and pharmacy type
Planning and tracking activities:
  • Support and assist the team in planning the activities with all necessary details
  • Supervise the process of closing the contracts and agreements with the customers
  • Analyses the efficiency of investment for top clients and propose adjustment plan.
  • Created tools for people in the team to have strategic deals within their clients/pharmacies
  • Responsible for accuracy in monthly and quarterly financial forecast 
  • Strong relationship within the teams; Support, coach and train the team on going; Build the collaboration between the team members
  • Strong subordinate – boss relationship; One-to-one constructive and opened discussions with his/her boss and with all the ASM once at 3 months with feedbacks and next steps included; 
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years pharma experience in Sales/ Marketing
  • Educated to minimum bachelors degree level ideally in a business related subject - from a recognized University
