A fantastic opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and experienced 
Customer Planning Analyst to join our supply team in Parsippany, NJ.


About the Role:

As a Customer Planning Analyst, you will have direct responsibility for reporting, analytics, and driving “best in class" in-stock levels, event execution, forecast accuracy, and case-fill rates for the Club Channel of trade. You will also own a category of customers and are responsible for their customer service and supply chain. You will manage the supply chain to ensure the products reach the customers in the most efficient manner i.e. balancing service metrics with cost. You will report into the Customer Supply Chain Manager.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for engaging the customer and developing relationships and processes to help deliver planned growth

  • Key owner of analyzing, planning, and executing promotional activity across the supply chain (Demand and Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Sales, Trade Marketing)

  • Ensure RB/Customer aligned KPIs are met and exceeded where possible by managing forecast, inventory on-hand, and in stocks.

  • Review forecast at an item level vs consumption and provide root cause analysis and recommendations on gaps, as well as tracking of sell through during promotional periods

  • Track and analyze retailer inventory levels and provide input to S&OP process based on findings

  • Recommend strategies to improve fill rate, order frequency, and lead-times

  • Lead supply chain initiatives that help drive operating costs down for customers and RB

  • Proactively identify and communicate service risks to customers with options for recovery

  • Collaborate with Demand Planning, Sales, and Marketing to ensure we have accurate and aligned forecasts, transparency, lead times, and knowledge on product availability

Qualifications:

  • Must have a BS degree in Supply Chain Management, or another business-related field

  • Strong Analytical and decision-making skills 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work across multiple groups to achieve targeted goals 

  • Demonstrate the ability to take ownership and implement effective change 

  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word 

  • 5+ years of Supply Chain, Marketing or Sales experience

  • Experience in Demand/ Supply Planning or CPFR (preferred)
