A fantastic opportunity is available for a Communications Manager, NA Health to join our Communications team. 

Located in our New Jersey headquarters, this position will be a part of the North America Corporate Communications team ensuring the company's messages are aligned and delivered in accordance with RB’s global vision. The ideal candidate will, at different times, be a communications strategist, business thought-partner, writer, and project manager. As a key member of the communications team the primary goal is delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications for North America, this individual will be responsible for a variety of communication activities for a wide range of issues including proactive corporate communications and internal employee communications to support RB and its healthcare brands including Durex, Enfamil, Mucinex, Airborne and Clearasil, while supporting corporate reputation and issues management through public affairs and public relations activities.


This role will be heavily focused on communications channels and strategies surrounding social media, CSR and community relations and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of integrated internal and external communications programs and campaigns that extend awareness of RB’s position as a global healthcare leader and promote the company’s culture and thought leadership.
  • Develop deep understanding of global business and corporate communications strategies and work with teams to ensure consistency of messages and alignment to broader corporate goals and objectives.
  • Support internal and external communications around RB’s Health portfolio; work in partnership with brand directors on activities to advance portfolio of RB Health products.
  • Serve as point person for execution of social media programs, leading the creation of content, image capture and consistent posting of news and meaningful content.
  • Manage internal communications for RB’s North American corporate social responsibility program, Give Time, while identifying opportunities to promote employee volunteer efforts to external audiences.
  • Lead creation of stories, articles and overviews for the RB intranet to promote RB Health business unit’s successes, accomplishments and team milestones. Serve as internal reporter, mine for story opportunities, conduct interviews and craft compelling stories that inform, engage and inspire readers.
  • Create high-quality communications materials including press releases, social media posts, intranet articles, employee app content, briefing documents, and other outreach materials.
  • Collaborate with external agencies (public relations, advertising, design, etc.) and provide oversight and leadership as directed.

Key Challenges:

  • Building a culture of social media savvy ambassadors to help drive content.
  • Coordinating multiple site community programs that align with our brand purpose.

Is this You?

  • 5-7 years of communications experience, with preference in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech or infant food and child nutrition (IFCN) industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills (writing samples required).
  • Experience with non-profits and charitable organizations a plus.
  • Experience developing and writing multi-channel content including social media; digital content strategy, management and storytelling
  • Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and analyse results.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving and analytical thinking when approaching assignments and providing recommendations.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and drive, and an ability to supporting business objectives through communications that drive awareness and impact.
  • Ability to synthesize complex subject matter, translating technical subjects into relatable storylines
