A fantastic opportunity is available for a Quality Manager to join our Quality team.



The Quality Manager role will lead and facilitate the continuous improvement activities by assuring proper quality systems are developed to comply with current regulations such as GDP, implementing processes and procedures and observe/audit for compliance, establishing objectives for quality improvement within the hub, provide feedback to the region on performance against relevant internal and external quality, regulatory/statutory requirements

As Quality Manager you will be required to act as the responsible person on the wholesale dealers licence and the controlled drugs licence. You will be responsible for ensuring that the hub maintains compliance with applicable regulations as appropriate while also supporting and enabling the wider business to achieve its objectives. As the Health Hub Commercial Quality Manager you must work effectively with internal parties, manufacturing sites, third parties, external bodies and corporate personnel.

The Role:

  • Responsible to support the management team to enable them to develop the local Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure fully compliant products and systems.
  • Provide leadership on continuous improvement projects, quality initiatives, etc. as established by corporate Quality Management.
  • Ensure a robust and effective change control system is in place to ensure business changes are effectively managed.
  • Ensure an effective training system is in place for the business.
  • Ensure that processes are in place to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the local QMS. Audit should cover all aspects of the BMS and local QMS to ensure compliance. Ensure a routine review programme and audits are in place for Third Party providers
  • Maintain a Fit-For-Purpose QMS: Report level of compliance of local QMS versus BMS, Policies and GDP regularly to Senior Management and drive closure of gaps to maintain compliance.
  • Partner with procurement to ensure that hauliers selected are compliant with GDP and all relevant TAs and audits are in place prior to commencement of activities.

The person:

  • experience working in a quality compliance function in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device related industry.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining a robust QMS.
  • Clear understanding and ability to assess and act upon product safety, quality, efficacy and compliance risks.
  • Good understanding of regulatory, GMP and GDP requirements relevant to a regulated product e.g. EU GMP, EU GDP, WHO, PIC/S, CFR 21 Part 210/211.
  • Clear understanding to ensure operations do not compromise the quality of products and can demonstrate compliance with GDP.
  • Influencing skills in areas with no direct reporting authority.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Auditing skills, appropriate qualifications in auditing an advantage.
