About the role:
 
  • This is a strategic and challenging role deploying financial processes in SAP ERP system whilst working with various local business units and manufacturing sites to ensure compliance with globally defined processes.
  • Role involves working alongside Global Process Owners, Super Users, other functional SAP BPOs and Solution Architects to enable successful deployments of Global Template
  • Support country project teams with functional expertise of processes in scope of transition by supporting in fit gap, testing and go live enabling a clear and error free deployment
  • Work with the appointed system integrator in the deployment locations to ensure all aspects of the Global template are accurately positioned to the Super Users
  • The scope spans overall responsibility for end to end financial processes across Controlling and RTR in both commercial and manufacturing entities with respect to the SAP Global Template. 
  • This includes ownership of financial and operational controls, reporting, data and documentation within these areas.
  • Additionally, any integration with other processes, particularly OTC, embellishment and management or group reporting.
 
 

Key responsibilities:

 
 
  • Ownership of delivery of Finance Process deployment of SAP including delivering pre-deployment activities, Fit and Change programmes in markets and factories, minimising any changes to the template that will be required, leading the team to identify changes to the business that are needed and assisting with the change management actions. rive consistent approach to Governance across the Finance elements of SAP – driving swift, controlled resolution of issues, getting approved by all impacted.
  • Personally driving the resolution of high risk / judgemental items within Finance, for example decomposed management reporting, dealing with complex group structures and unusual transactions. Drive and own documentation of the Programme asset to ensure that it remains an accurate asset to the group.
  • Responsible for ensuring financial and operational controls are in place and embedded in the process.  Identifying areas of control deficiency, areas for improvement and areas of concern.
  • Own the relationship with stakeholders in the country and manufacturing sites through the deployment process to support the deployment on an ongoing basis
 
 
Key challenges:
 
  • Stabilisation of live entities
  • Define and deploy global processes across the entire Finance remit, including those integrated with other process areas such as OTC or embellishment
  • To develop processes that can match business requirements whilst at the same time delivering standard and consolidated benefits of a global process
 
 
 
Is this you?
 
  • Degree qualified or equivalent
  • Professional accountancy qualification
  • Experience of working in a complex, matrix organisation with a global scope. FMCG experience desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrable knowledge understanding of End to End Financial processes
  • Demonstrable ability to engage and manage different level stakeholders and multicultural audience/s through superior communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to deal with and manage conflict
  • Project Management, 6 Sigma qualifications desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of SAP (User or Super User Level)
  • Sound judgment and strong business acumen, always looking at the best possible outcome for RB and aligned to the RB goals.
  • Attitude and aptitude to thrive in a fast-moving, demanding, dynamic and ambiguous environment, with the personal integrity to make positive change even when it challenges the status quo
  • Change agent – continually looking for ways to drive process improvement
 
 
Travel requirements:
 
 

Approx. 40-50% travel to international RB locations as and when required to support deployments or BAU embedding.
