Key responsibilities:
 
  • Responsible for the achievement of financial and market share targets for a brand or group of brands in the market.
  • Revolutionize BTL activities to a MEGA full year activation.
  • In close co-operation with the Sales function and Trade Marketing, identify trade needs/ opportunities, developing pricing and distribution strategies and trade promotions for assigned brands.
  • Update organization monthly on the progress of the brand activities
  • To develop, recommend and lead the execution of local marketing plans for assigned brands and manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget
  • To contribute to the development of category strategies
  • To initiate and manage market research projects to deliver powerful consumer and customer insights as the basis for long term brand growth. Develop these insights into achievable plans
  • Responsible for marketing for a brand or group of brands in the market with responsibility for activation excellence of Area Power brand plans.
  • Works across functions including Area, supply, sales and finance to develop and execute successful commercial plans in order to deliver financial and share plans and targets
  • Manages initiative development and activation of any local brands in the portfolio including development of new products, consumer and shopper communications
  • Generates and proposes business development initiatives (BDIs) for the brand(s) based on consumer, shopper and market understanding. 
  • Supports the Trade marketing team as required in the implementation of the store-format activation plans or optimizing product assortment and promotional strategy.  
  • Supports the Sales team in creating customer presentations and meeting customer requirements.
Is this you?
  
  • Min 3 Years marketing experience, must be able to demonstrate outstanding marketing skills and potential, developed within an FMCG environment
  • Educated to minimum bachelor’s degree level in a business related subject - from a recognized University
  • Strong leadership – Keywords à Passion & Ambition
  • Flexible
  • Ambitious
  • Manage stakeholders – Upwards / Downwards / External (this will only be possible if he has worked in a similar role)
  • People’s person
  • Strong sense of urgency and achievement
  • Resilient and able to respond under pressure
