A fantastic opportunity is available for an Associate Brand Manager to join ourteam.

  

 

 

The Associate Brand Manager, Amope is responsible for the development of the Amope brand through the achievement of specific growth objectives. The position resides within the US Marketing function and will report to the Brand Manager, Amope/Veet. The Associate Brand Manager role will cover Equity, Activation and Innovation capacities, will play a key role in supporting the development of the overall category strategy, and is expected to drive the growth of Amope through excellent marketing execution.

  • To manage and support Amope within the context of the agreed strategies to maximize long term sales and profitability.
  • Support the brand manager to develop, recommend and lead the execution of local marketing plans for assigned brands and manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget.
  • To contribute to the development of category strategies.
  • Monitor the marketing budget and develop product forecasts.
  • Analyze brands and market trends and recommend actions to be taken.
  • Contributing to RB Innovation by delivering a product development program to generate consistent sales and profit growth
  • Assist the brand manager to develop, recommend and execute annual marketing plan activities, including local media strategy and plans.
  • To initiate and manage market research projects to deliver powerful consumer and customer insights as the basis for long term brand growth. Develop these insights into achievable plans.
  • Participate in the development of local copy strategy / executions and/or to ensure adaptation possible for other regions.
  • In close co-operation with the Sales function and Trade Marketing, identify trade needs / opportunities, developing pricing and distribution strategies and trade promotions for assigned brands.
  • Facilitate speed to market of products, programs and services.
  • Be a savvy digital marketer able to quickly understand and leverage the dynamic technology to maximize the business. 
  • Work with supply, sales and finance to develop and execute successful Brand Plans to deliver net revenue, gross margin, market share and profit targets within timescales and budget as approved by Area
  • Provide monthly updates to business review and monitor market performance, responsible for successful implementation of Brand plans as per business review and Business plan
    
Qualifications:
  • Degree educated from a US or internationally-recognized university

  • Min. 2-3 yrs experience in brand
  • MBA a plus
  • Career in leading CPG company a plus
  • Financially and commercially astute
  • P&L exposure
  • Self-motivated, highly flexible and takes the initiative to do what’s needed

  • Team working skills Ability to work in a global environment

  • Networking skills
  • Resilience
  • Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills

  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to handle ambiguity
